Deux Procureurs

Soviet Union, 1937, during Stalin's Great Purge: thousands of letters written by political prisoners about their conditions of detention are burned in a prison cell. Miraculously, one of them ends up on the desk of Kornyev, a young prosecutor who is very devoted to the regime and its cause. The latter is fighting to meet the prisoner, who appears to be the victim of state injustice.

His quest will take him to the Attorney General's office in Moscow. Like a man in a labyrinth that is closing in like a vice, the young prosecutor, driven by his idealism, will strive to obtain justice at the end of the road…
