Le Retour du projectionniste

Nestled in the hills of a small village in Azerbaijan, an old cinema is attempting to revive itself thanks to the hard work of two passionate people, separated by a 50-year age gap and a world of film culture.
Bursting with ideas, waiting for spare parts from another century, reproducing missing reels of an Indian film to make it comprehensible, their only limit is their imagination!

When the old projector is switched on again in a packed theatre, the emotion is as palpable as it was in its heyday. The tension too: will the session go smoothly?
