Morte e Vida Madalena

Madalena is a film producer who is eight months pregnant and is about to resume shooting a low-budget science fiction film written by her recently deceased father. When Davi, the director chosen to direct the film and incidentally her ex-partner, suddenly disappears, Madalena does everything she can to finish the film before her baby is born.

Flamboyant, populated by characters as passionate as they are whimsical, Morte e Vida Madalena is an ode to genre cinema, to childhood daydreams, to the freedom to create.
