In the small town of Tepoztlán, Mexico, Karla shares her intimate and candid journey of self-discovery, from the end of childhood to adolescence, as she navigates the complexities, joys and uncertainties of coming of age as a transgender person.
 
In this debut feature film, filmmaker Kani Lapuerta, himself a trans man, gives Karla the space she needs to tell her story in her own way. Filmed over eight years, her personality lights up the screen, making this documentary a joyful, anarchic and vibrant exploration!
