Yuko is a shy student who discovers she has telekinetic abilities. When she realises that another student has the same gift and takes advantage of it to set up quasi-military surveillance groups within the school, Yuko makes it her mission to stop her, accompanied by her friend who practises Kendo. But other supernatural forces will stand in their way…

Based on the novel of the same name by Taku Mayumura, which has been adapted into numerous series and anime, School in the Crosshairs is considered by fans of the genre to be the best adaptation. With a recently restored copy, Nabuhiko Ōbayashi, director of the legendary House, once again opens his magic box of psychedelic visuals and special effects for a pop and futuristic ode to resistance and free thinking.
