U Are the Universe

In the near future, Ukrainian space truck driver Andriy Melnyk transports nuclear waste aboard a cargo ship to Callisto, Jupiter's abandoned moon. During this routine flight, the Earth explodes. Andriy becomes the last person alive in the universe until Catherine, a Frenchwoman, contacts him from a distant space station. Andriy decides to join her despite all the obstacles…

A tribute to 2001: A Space Odyssey coupled with an ode to love from Ukraine, made despite the constraints of a state of war. This is the first feature film by director Pavlo Ostrikov, who has already won awards at several festivals.
