Aiko, a make-up artist in Moscow, returns to her native village in Kazakhstan to attend the funeral of her long-lost father. There she meets his new wife and children, who do not take kindly to this cheeky, cynical young woman...Immersion in an almost exclusively feminine environment, with a very strong temperament: Aiko is urban and modern, her sister-in-law is still under the thumb of her mother, the grandmother who understands everything is not left out.Having to put together a new family, each of them will have their own strategy, patience and outbursts...

The director's background as a documentary filmmaker, who is signing her first film here, imbues the naturalistic side of this exuberant and feminine drama, carried by the luminous performance of Aiko.
