Black Movie for Kids

Buried in the winter gloom, three strange creatures are impatiently waiting for the launch of Black Movie for Kids to leap onto Geneva and brighten up the city and its screens with their bright colours.


What's on the programme this year? A dazzling selection of 35 films from 27 different countries, which sounds like an invitation to rethink the world by exploring essential subjects such as friendship and emotional ties, disability and difference, courage and self-expression.
Alongside the screenings, which will be held in cinemas, community centres and daycare centres across the canton, free workshops will give everyone the chance to give free rein to their imagination by learning sound effect techniques or creating an animated “exquisite corpse”.
And one of the highlights of this year's festival will be an exceptional cine-concert, where music and images will be created live to amaze cinema-goers of all ages, while at the same time raising ecological awareness.

The time has come to leave your cave and return to the warm atmosphere of the Black Movie for Kids, where you can share some fun and enriching moments with your family and friends.
