CAN I MAKE A BOOKING BY TELEPHONE OR E-MAIL?
No, for security reasons we don’t take reservations by phone or e-mail.

DO I HAVE TO PRINT MY TICKETS?
If you bought a Black Movie Pass, you don't need to print your tickets, they are directly integrated in your Pass. All you have to do is present it at the entrance of the movie theaters so that the staff can scan the QR code that is on it.
If you bought a ticket online, you will receive it by email. You will just have to present the QR code from your phone or print it. -
WHERE CAN I PICK UP MY PASS/ACCREDITATION?
You will be able to pick them up on January 15, 2025 at 17:00, at the Maison des Arts du Grütli (16 rue du Général-Dufour, 1204 Geneva). Find the opening hours here.

HOW TO BUY TICKETS ON THE FESTIVAL WEBSITE?
- Go to blackmovie.ch and choose your screening either :
- In the section Films of the Days, on the homepage
- In the Programme > Films
- In the Programme > Sections
- Under the trailer in the Ticketing area, choose the date you want and click on the shopping cart icon.
- Choose the price and the number of tickets you want, by clicking on the + button.
- Click on Add to cart.
- Your reservations are displayed, you can delete them by clicking on the trash icon.
- If you wish to buy more tickets for other screenings, click on Back to the programme or Finalize order.
- The Payment page will open, follow the information.
- You will receive your order confirmation by email containing the links to receive your mobile ticket(s) in an email and download your ticket(s) to print them.
- If you have not received this e-mail within an hour of placing your order, please check that it has not arrived in your spam folder. If you have not received it, write to billetterie@blackmovie.ch

HOW TO BUY A BLACK MOVIE PASS ON THE FESTIVAL WEBSITE?
- Go to blackmovie.ch, then click on Practical Info > Pass / 5 entry Card
- You will be redirected to a new page, select pass or 5 tickets card
- Fill in all the required fields in Holder then click on Add to cart.
- If you wish to buy another pass or another 5-entry card, click on Buy another pass.
- When you have finished your selection, click on Finalize your order.
- You will be redirected to your Order Validation page.
- You must enter your invoicing details.
- You can modify your order by clicking on Modify your order.
- Once you have finished, click on To the payment process.
- The Payment page will open, follow the information.
- You will receive your order confirmation by email containing the links to receive your mobile ticket(s) in an email and download your ticket(s) to print them.

I’M HAVING PROBLEMS WITH MY ONLINE PURCHASES. WHAT SHOULD I DO?
The problem may be with your browser. Our IT technicians recommend using Google Chrome. If the problem persists, try again in private browsing.
Also make sure you have disabled your ad blocker if you have added one to your browser, as well as your Internet connection.

I PAID MY ORDER BUT I DIDN’T RECEIVE A LINK FOR MY TICKET OR PASS. WHAT SHOULD I DO?
Check in your spam folder. If it is not there, write to us at billetterie@blackmovie.ch.

HOW IT WORKS WHEN I PURCHASED MY TICKET ONLINE?
A purchased online or at the ticket desk guarantees your entry and the reservation of your seat in the cinema for the given event. All you have to do is present the QR code at the entrance. Attention! You have to show up minimum 10 minutes before the beginning of the screening; if you are still absent passed this time limit, your seat will be given to someone else.
From this point, the cinema room will only be accessible within the limit of free seats. The Festival is free to keep the door shut if you come late – even with a valid ticket.
No refunds or exchanges will be made. -
HOW DOES THE ONLINE PASS WORK?
After your purchase, you will receive an email with a link to download your pass. Check your spam folder if you didn't receive a confirmation email after your purchase.
You will be able to pick up your pass at the Festival Welcome desk. See opening hours here.
It is imperative to reserve your seat before the screening. The Pass gives you access to all the screenings scheduled as part of Black Movie 2025 and Black Movie for Kids 2025, except for the ciné-concert, La Montagne magique & l'arrivée des machines, which must be purchased separately. It is personal and non-transferable. It allows only one person to enter the hall for each event.

HOW TO BOOK ONLINE SCREENINGS ON A PASS?
- Go to blackmovie.ch and choose your screening, either :
On the Homepage > in the Films of the day section
In the tab Programme > Films
In the tab Programme > Sections
- Under the trailer of the film, in the Ticketing box, choose the date and then click on the shopping trolley icon next to it.
- A page will open and you can enter your TicketID codes in the box> Do you have a TicketID?
- Click on Login >.
- A page will open and click on Book Screenings.
- Select your screening by clicking on More info...
- In the tab Booking with Ticket ID click Book my seat.
- The Reservation page will open, you can view your bookings and also cancel your bookings.
- Go to blackmovie.ch and choose your screening, either :

HOW CAN I CHECK THE RESERVATIONS ON MY PASS?
- You can scan your QR code with the camera of your smartphone. Your bookings will appear, or go to blackmovie.ch and click on the shopping cart at the top right of the home page.
- A page will open and you can enter your TicketID codes in Do you have a TicketID?
- Click on Login >.
- The Bookings page will open, you can view your bookings and also cancel your bookings.

DO I NEED TO MAKE A RESERVATION IF I HAVE A PASS?
Yes, it is imperative to book the screenings of your choice. Without, we cannot guarantee access to the cinemas.

CAN I LEND MY PASS OR ACCREDITATION TO SOMEONE ELSE IF I CAN'T MAKE IT TO A SESSION?
No, Passes and accreditations are personal and non-transferable. They only allow the holder of the pass or accreditation to enter the hall. In case of fraudulent use, they will be confiscated.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO GET A REFUND OR CHANGE MY TICKET?
We do not refund passes or tickets.

CAN I BUY TICKETS WITH THE CHEQUE CULTURE ?
Yes, we accept Culture Vouchers at our ticket offices.

RECOMMANDATIONS
We strongly recommend that you arrive at least 30 minutes before the start of the screening.
If you are not present 10 minutes before the start of the screening, your place may be reallocated.
From then on, access to the cinema will only be allowed within the limits of available seats.
The Festival reserves the right to refuse entry to latecomers - even if they have a valid ticket - without refund or exchange.
