Lesson Learned

Juci, a young, newly arrived teacher, questions the toxic functioning and outdated methods within her school, while Palkó, a new foreign student, struggles to adapt to an authoritarian and intolerant system.

Revealing an education system in crisis, with a shortage of teachers and a ban on whistleblowers, this fiction that is both alarmist and preventative exposes systems of coercion that can happen anywhere. Juci, driven by her profession of faith and eager to share her knowledge, quickly finds herself cornered when it comes to speaking in front of the group of teachers and parents. Indirect threats, bullying and sidelining no longer seem a problem, as long as it's a matter of maintaining the power of a few small despots.

With the incredible performance of young Juci, this is a relevant and particularly edifying story!
