Rising up at Night

Kinshasa, a city of 17 million inhabitants, is often plunged into darkness. Like moths, the inhabitants gather around the rare spots of light.
Without electricity, how can we move forward?Between hope, disappointment and religious faith, everyone finds solutions that are often very much cobbled-together and even dangerous. The radio, for its part, broadcasts speeches about pharaonic power station projects that would cover the whole of Central Africa.
