The Tenants

In a dystopian South Korean city, a tenant about to be evicted from his flat decides to delay the process by subletting a room to a couple, which would make it impossible for the landlords to take action. But their erratic behaviour creates other problems. The official tenant slowly slips into paranoia and tries to resolve the situation contractually, which increasingly traps him in a Kafkaesque labyrinth.
The absurd and very real reality of housing problems, which leads to the absurd situation where, in order to live in a house, you have to sublet it, is countered by fanciful characters, each struggling with their own torments.

A slightly anxiety-provoking black and white farce about urban hyperdensity, claustrophobics beware!
