25 years!

To celebrate our quarter of a century, we're inviting you to a unique and delicious cinematic feast of 105 films from 44 countries! At the table with you, the crème de la crème of filmmakers: Wang Bing, Carolina Markowicz, Kim Jae-woon, Lisandro Alonso, Laha Mebow, Ryūsuke Hamaguchi, Tsai Ming-liang, Cyrielle Raingou among others… Enough to nourish the soul, without moderation and in excellent company!

A ten-course menu: the first one, Taiwanese Freeze Frames, is devoted to a small country off the coast of China, and to its most illustrious and sensual filmmaker, Tsai Ming-Liang. The icing on the cake: a masterclass as well as a unique and exceptional exhibition by the artist-filmmaker in Geneva! A tribute to Cinema, Your Merciless World, showing what goes on behind the scenes of glamour, glitter and red carpets; the turbulent Resist! section gives voice to rebels and indociles from all walks of life; Taking Root gives a voice to the indigenous peoples of the Americas; Family Jewel delves into the tribulations of the family, from Kazakhstan to Argentina; Sweat and Tremors follows athletes in seven films; Phantom Members evokes what happens after death; The Smell of Money pays tribute to laborers, from the Central African Republic to China; Guilty Pleasures offers 3 eye-popping programmes for those who want more; finally, to sweeten things up, the wonderful Black Movie for Kids programme offers 40 films, for ages 3 to 83. And there's a special weekend just for them, with entertainment, films and sweets, a real treat!

Conferences and round-table discussions accompany the films to add even more substance to the banquet, and to unwind after all that feasting, six All-Nighters parties round off the nights, thanks to the collaborations of our fantastic partners in crime!
