Accompanied by a delightful instrumentarium (combining strings, woodwinds, percussions and electronics), a talented quartet performs the music of sixteen animated poems, while reciting and singing the texts. These highlight the popular writing of Prévert, the war memories of Apollinaire and the humorous surrealism of Desnos, while short interludes reveal how the films were made. A celebration of French poetry.
