Mambar Pierrette

Pierrette, a seamstress in Douala, looks after her children and mother by herself. Just before the start of the new school year, a major source of income because of the uniforms, her small workshop is flooded… Used to having to take things one day at a time, she takes the blow and carries on. And Pierrette cuts fabrics the way she tries to organise her life: piece by piece, patiently.
An incredible, indestructible Sisyphus, Pierrette's performance is one of resilience and self-sacrifice, coupled with a powerful presence.
