My Stolen Planet

Farah, an Iranian woman, was forced into exile at the end of 2022. Free, she creates a new universe there, a new “planet”, thus recreating an alternative history of Iran.
An Iranian filmmaker born during the Islamic revolution of 1979, Farah navigates between the relative freedom she enjoys at home and public oppression.
Uprooted, and in order to resist oblivion, she begins a collection of images from people she does not know, and archives her own videos. Her mother in Iran, who suffers from Alzheimer's disease, pushes her even further to freeze her memory. In the fall of 2022, the “Woman, Life, Freedom” uprising marked a turning point in Farah’s life, as well as that of many other Iranian women.
